Episode 42

Think a hard drive crash can stop Music in the Evening? No, because I backed up almost everything to a second disk before the first one lost its mind. Episode 42, "The People's Republic of Music in the Evening," is here. Part of a political diptych with 41, "Fred," this episode finds Gertrude and Olivia, the violently feminist duo who perform as Mysyc fyr Wymyn, taking over the show to introduce benevolent liberal rule. See? Left, right. I'm an equal opportunity offender. I'm not politically slanted.*

Update my blog? Naw.

Oh, fine. I guess I'll update the blog after all with exciting information about MitE production. Episode 42 has been cooking for some time now, and I'm hammering it into shape when I get spare time here and there. Just a few finishing touches in voice work and music, and it'll be ready for primetime.

What's it about, you ask? Well, it's part of a political diptych (you're the diptych, diptych!) with episode 41, in which we met Fred. With Fred, we explored the wonders of conservatism, and in episode 42, we meet some intense liberals. You know them: Gertrude and Olivia, the sisters who perform as Mysyc fyr Wymyn, because remember, all other vowels are emblematic of the patriarchy. What happens when they decide to take over the show for its own good? We shall see!
