Piano is Hard

You fine feathered folks may have noticed more keyboardin' in my songs lately. Since getting my shiny new keyboard for Jesus-Christmas (so that all the keys actually work), I've been wrestling mightily with those pesky ivories, trying to get to a place where I can at least plonk out chords reliably, and employ the occasional inversion. Is that so much to ask?

Yes, apparently, if you stubbornly refuse to take lessons because you'd be embarrassed that you're not better than you are. Yes, unpack that madness and tell me if it makes sense.

So it remains to be seen if I ever will get much better, but of course the point, for me, is not to flawlessly execute a Rachmaninoff piece; it's to have fun. Gosh, that was a lot of punctuation in that last sentence.

Episode 36 - The Final Episode

It's the end of an era as Snobberson is diagnosed with incurable stage IV cancer of the pubic hair. So long, old friend. Music in the Evening is, of course, over without our valiant host. So long and farewell, my fat Spanish ladies. That's how that goes, right?

Episode 35!

Episode 35 is out after only a, oh, three month hiatus? I think, in the grand scheme of things, that's pretty good. In this episode is the triumphant return of Streetfeld, in whose song I manage to avoid the dreadful racism of his appearance in episode 9 (No, really, DON'T go listen to it). Let's just mutually decide it's an interesting historical artifact of the days of an even more offensive Music in the Evening. These days, I'm quite mellower.

Uh, except for the Brought-to-you-by jingle in the beginning about anal bleaching.
